The Central Group is the heart of the Angeles Chapter, covering West Hollywood through East Los Angeles, from Griffith Park through South LA, and includes downtown LA and a number of Gateway cities.  We explore, enjoy, and protect the environment right from the streets of our nation’s second largest city.

Oil Drilling - City of LA

200 people turned out to LA City Council (and filled four overflow rooms!) demanding protection from the harm of oil drilling. They called for enacting a 2500 ft. buffer zone between homes, schools, and places of worship. To get involved in these environmental justice efforts, contact:
